Awards

Denis O’Meara / Outback Trees of Australia has received the following recognition for propagation in the North West:

• 1985 – East Pilbara Shire’s inaugural Australia Day Citizen of the Year Award for 21 years of tree planting and propagation in the Pilbara region.
• 1986 – Finalist in ABC Countrywide National Tree Care Award.
• 1987 – Winner, Individual Endeavour Greening Australia (WA) John Tonkin Award.
• 1988 – Commendation – National Awards for Greening Australia
• 1991 – Greening Australia Award for Outstanding Achievement – One of two National Awards presented at Adelaide in 1992.
• 2000 – Nomination for Golden Gecko Award, Western Australia.
