Quality Assurance

Outback Trees of Australia (OTA) is currently working with SAI Global to obtain the Quality Assurance certification to the following internationally recognised standards: AS/NZS ISO 9001, AS/NZS ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 4801.

OTA demonstrates this commitment by:

  1. The implementation and endorsement of a HSEQ assurance system based on the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008 Quality, AS/NZS 4801:2001 Health & Safety and AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 Environment.
  2. Adhering to company policies, plans and procedures ensuring that HSEQ goals are met, and should problems arise, they are resolved promptly and in a manner that will prevent recurrence.
  3. Ensuring that all policies, plans and procedures used in our system are regularly reviewed and techniques improved whenever and wherever necessary.
  4. Adopting a philosophy of continuous improvement ensuring our integrated management system is a continuously evolving programme, and one which is relevant to the company’s organisational aims and goals, as well as meeting the needs and expectations of our clients.
  5. Ensuring the involvement of each individual in taking responsibility for the HSEQ of their own work.

Objectives

OTA is committed to establishing and maintaining an integrated management system to control the quality of the company’s management and operational processes to achieve client satisfaction and an assured level of quality.

Strategy

OTA will achieve this objective by;

  1. The commitment to implement a quality assurance system based on the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008.
  2. Ensuring the involvement of each individual in taking responsibility for the quality of their own work.
  3. Adhering to Company procedures ensuring that quality goals are met, and should problems arise, they are resolved promptly and in a manner that will prevent recurrence.
  4. Ensuring that all procedures used in our system are regularly reviewed and techniques improved whenever and wherever necessary.
  5. Adopting a philosophy of continuous improvement ensuring our quality system is a continuously evolving program, and one which is relevant to the company’s organisational aims and goals, as well as meeting the needs and expectations of our clients.
Implementation
  1. The attainment of these quality goals requires;
  2. Strong and responsive management and a united commitment from all staff. The outcome will be a respected reputation for the quality of our work and a rewarding place in which to work.
  3. All personnel to participate in, and contribute to, activity plans for quality maintenance and improvement.
  4. Awareness will be encouraged through meetings on quality philosophies together with training and education where necessary, to supplement managerial and vocational skills.
  5. The Manager of OTA along with the fellow directors shall ensure that all necessary resources and support will be available to ensure the successful application of this policy.
  6. This policy applies to all OTA employees, contractors and other personnel involved in activities pertaining to OTA’s operational activities.
